1948-1958: Robin Paul Robin was nine years and ten months old when she died on August 27, 1958 as a result of an accident while riding her bike down the street from her home. She was buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California. Her parents established the Robin Paul Memorial Fund of the Yorba Linda District Library. The funds realized were used to commission a mural for the library by local artist Allan Blanchard Hall. Read more about the Paul family |

1959: Artist Allan B. Hall Allan B. Hall, a Yorba Linda resident, was consulted and commissioned to paint the mural. A graduate of School of Fine Arts at U.S.C., a commercial artist and winner of four national awards, Mr. Hall was a founder of the Orange County Art Association and member of the National Art Fraternity. 1960-2020 Displayed in Yorba Linda Library The mural was originally installed behind the Circulation desk in the new Yorba Linda Library. After one of the library expansions, the mural was moved to its final location in the Community Room. |

2020 Rescue from the Library Concerned citizens and organizations came together to form the Save the Mural Coalition after learning that the mural would not be moving to the newly-constructed Yorba Linda Public Library. The coalition was allowed to remove the mural from its location in the library's community room and move it into storage until a new home could be found. The coalition begins fundraising for restoration of the mural. |

2022 Installation in Yorba Linda Art Gallery A small group of Save the Mural Coalition members assisted Neil Caplin of Yorba Linda Arts Alliance Foundation in installing the mural onto a wall in the Yorba Linda Art Gallery in Caduceus Medical Group in the old Packing House building in Yorba Linda. |

Appraisals & Restoration Advice After installing the mural in the Yorba Linda Art Gallery, Save the Mural Coalition reached out to several art restorers and appraisers for advice about the best methods to repair and preserve the mural for the future. |
